AVGN OneDesk Remote by AVGN IT Help Desk

The tool your engineer asked you to run

A small program that lets an AVGN engineer see your screen while you are on the phone to them, so they can fix the problem instead of describing it.

Only run this if you asked AVGN for help. It cannot connect to anyone on its own. It does nothing until you type the code that an AVGN engineer reads out to you on the phone, and that code stops working a few minutes later. If somebody rang you unexpectedly and asked you to install this, put the phone down and call us on +91 9029044486.

  1. Call AVGN, or raise a ticket. Your engineer opens the case and reads you a code.
  2. Download and run the file above. Nothing happens on its own. The first time, Windows may ask you to choose More info and then Run anyway, and a Mac to say it could not verify the app. On that Mac press Done, open System Settings, choose Privacy & Security, scroll to the line about AVGN OneDesk Remote and press Open Anyway (on macOS 12 to 14, right-click the app and choose Open instead). That is normal for a new tool that is not yet signed with Apple.
  3. Type the code. Just the one number, the one your engineer read out. It works for a few minutes and then stops.
  4. Watch what they do. You see everything, and you can close the session at any moment.
